Review of Yanis Mattresses Natural Latex Mattress with Organic Cover

"What a great mattress!"

I had to change my old mattress and wanted to go for a natural solution that wouldn't bring a lot of chemicals in my bedroom but that was also comfortable. I did my research and decided that natural latex was the way to go, however the natural latex mattresses are quite expensive and this was definitely a consideration I couldn't ignore. 
Then I found Yanis matresses; they not only have natural latex mattresses, but also offer natural latex wrapped in organic merino wool with organic cotton cover. Their prices are really very competitive and they offer free next day delivery service and 15 years guarantee on these mattresses. 
The Organic cover natural latex mattress (king size) arrived rolled in a plastic bag and then in a box. It was very heavy to carry up the stairs; it looked quite thin but when we opened the bag it got some air in and quickly became nice and thick.
I've had my new mattress for a week and I would not change it for anything, it is so comfortable. One of my concerns about latex mattresses was that it would be too hard (as they are said to be quite firm). This is not a problem at all: the mattress is firm and supportive but yet soft without any pressure on the body; it is like sleeping on a cloud, it sort of moulds around the body, but then springs back. Even my husband who doesn't get excited about things like this is really impressed with it. 
If there is anything I would change, it would be the fact that the cover is non-removable, so it can't be washed. This could be resolved to some extent with a mattress protector. 
We also got the contour latex pillows and they complete the whole experience.
The service from Yanis was great and I would happily recommend them and their Organic cover mattresses to anyone. There is a good latex guide on their website and the method they use for their mattresses (Dunlop). I am a happy customer.
